To all the good men of the country!!!

Recently, a man hopped on a call with a doctor. Listening to his initial conversation, there are chances for people to get angry and the doctor was in no way an exception to it. But, when the entire conversation unfolds, you will be taken aback. So, what was the conversation all about? Come, let's eavesdrop into it.

Doctor: Hello!
Keshav - Am I speaking to Gynaecologist Mrs Sinah?
Doctor: Yes!
Keshav - Actually my wife is pregnant and it's a girl. So, we have decided to abort the child.
Doctor: What the heck???? Nonsense. Don't you know it's illegal to abort a girl child? So you wanted a boy right?
Keshav: No no Doctor. Don’t mistake me and turn down my request. I have always longed for a girl child.
Doctor: Then why the hell do you want to abort the kid?
Keshav: Because she will be raped in time to come.

Doctor, I do not want my little girl to be raped. I’m so sorry doctor, but I know you often get calls with a similar request. The reason behind them would be that I cannot pay the dowry amount or I do not have enough income to educate her.

However, from now on there will be calls requesting that “I do not want my little princess to come into this world as she will be raped”. In Dehli, an 8-month-old kid was raped. On the other hand, people who thought that only the outside world is full of such morons had been proved wrong by their own relatives who had involved themselves in such a barbaric act.

When the 8-year-old kid’s parents saw her, she was soaked up in the blood and her screams could easily penetrate through the thick walls of the hospital.

Hearing to this, Gynaecologist Mrs Sinah was stunned and was unable to react to Keshav’s appeal.

With all these incidents happening from the past up until now, it’s evident that this society has always exploited, performed injustice and insulted women. Thereby, the history speaks for itself. Men’s chauvinist nature, jealousy, greediness and ego are often translated and witnessed by women in the form of harassment.

From the time of King’s rule, men fight in the war. Each soldier either gets the taste of the victory or will be famed as an immortal warrior. After the war, one side will be forced to concede defeat.

Did it really stop there???
No! The women of the losing side were humiliated, raped and pushed into human trafficking.

On the other hand, in the name of alcohol addiction, man gambles and loses his property. Due to this addiction, the women in the family are the ones who are left out to suffer.

When a man gives up on his life and chooses to get rid of his family, she is left with no option rather than to work hard and fill the paunch of her kids.

Here, among humans, one gender has always been strangling the other gender. Whereas, these strangled women give birth to the next generation. Is it not necessary to provide happiness, satisfaction and respect while she is giving birth to the next generation? Does she not deserve even a bit of it?

Women are always treated as a piece of meat.

It takes days or months or even years for a girl/woman to move out of that psychological trauma. Woman, who has strong support from her side, finds a way to overcome it. But a majority of the girls/women end up in committing suicide with the fear of facing the society.

What kind of happiness or pleasure did he experience by completely destroying her private part with iron rods? And it has certainly led to a total collapse of her internal section. It just takes minutes to spoils her life and the dreams of her family members.

So, looking at all this, where is the outrage?
Where are the leaders of the country?
And where are the people who show up during elections asking for votes?

The fast track courts have not been improvised. The cops should be available in the hour of need instead, they are busy providing protection to VIPs.

Most of the men today has a woman he loves. Be it his mother, wife or daughter. Even they’ll have to commute back home after work. In order to overcome the agony, it’s time for him to stand for her.

There is one thing to be noted that NOT ALL MEN ARE THE SAME. There are men, who boil with rage upon hearing to so much cruelty happening to women in the form of rape. They’re empathetic toward women in tough situations. Certainly, there are MEN who respect women, love and wish them all success in life.

I have personally witnessed the love, care and respect from the men I know in my life. It is obvious that as a father, my dad will be worried about me. Adding to it, all my male friends have made sure I’m safe where ever I’m. If I happen to be late in commuting back home, one of them has always made sure to pick me up from halfway through the travel.

These are all the good men of the country and I’m sure most women would have a bunch of caring men in the form of father, brother, husband and male friends of course.

So, to all the good men of this country, it would be great if each of you breaks the silence standing for and by the side of the women.
