As humans, it is very natural to have expectations set, be it for anything.

Expecting a few things in return for the favour we do to another person is natural. Here not everyone decides and mentions the expectation they wish to receive in return, it just stays within oneself. This is something that sets automatically for most humans. Nevertheless, not everyone invests time in it and makes a list.

On the other hand, there are some people who do not have any expectations at all. They are just trying to do all that they can do to help and make the present surrounding a better place to live for all.

One such person is Sanjana. Looking at her personal life, she has a family to take care of. A loving and caring husband, who has always supported her in every stage of life. He would have excitement on his face every evening after he calls off the day from work, just because he is going to see his wife and family at home.

There is also a very small smile with her that gives her innocent happiness no matter how tough her day would have been. Whenever she sees that little smile on her 1-year-old kid’s face, it feels as though her day has just started.

Apart from them, there is this one woman who ensures to feed Sanjana with her own hands when she is about to skip her meal due to work. That’s her mother. Having a family to take care of, one day something very pivotal came up that she had to leave behind the support and love of her husband, care of her mother, the little smile of her kid and soft shoulder hugs of her family.

Over time, it looked as though she had to forget the little smile, innocent happiness and soft shoulder hugs of her family for months.

She was called for an emergency wherein she had to even forget the directions to go home until the situation became normal. Now she hasn’t slept for nights just to make sure that the ray of hope to survive doesn’t dim down in the country and darkness doesn’t prevail over humanity. Sanjana decided that she will hit the sack only when she becomes so very sure that the country can breathe on its own. Yes, the country is struggling to breathe by itself.

At this point in time, when the sincere prayers became futile, she trusted her profession of medical science to heal humanity. She is trying her best to keep all those hearts beating, that come under the care of her hands and vigilance.

Be it a person of any religion who is struggling to survive, she didn’t even bother to discriminate against them and give them cold shoulders. All that was running in her mind was to keep their hearts beating.

The situation resembles in such a way that the soldiers who fight for the nation on the borders have now transformed their uniform from khaki to white in the form of doctors and nurses.

Yes, Doctors and Nurses. They are our real soldiers in these tough times. All that they desire is to see INDIA breathe on its own without any expectations in return. What they are doing is an act of selfless devotion.

Choosing to be kind and generous rather than to rain on someone’s parade gives an immense pleasure. It is all about doing the needful for a person who desperately needs help in their hour of need. Most importantly, when there are no expectations set in return, your heart will feel like a free bird with no boundaries.

Give it a try rather than pondering the same for ages. This will certainly give a serene feel and self satisfaction!!!
